Major expansion for Yorkshire company - L&S Prints

A specialist printing company based in West Yorkshire is set to see sales rocket due to new business model. L&S Prints of West Lane, Keighley is currently undergoing major expansion as a result of launching a new brand.

Established in 1990, the company initially set out in custom printed fabrics, supplying customers across the country with dye sublimated polyester fabrics.

Personalised products have now become the fore front of the business, allowing consumers to customise products with names, logos, images and text via online market places like Ebay, Amazon and Etsy.

Due to the ever-growing number of online sales, this has enabled the company to branch out and launch British Made Gifts.

The expansion has resulted in the employment of seven new staff members – and counting, the acquisition of two new state of the art wide format printers, a fiber filling machine – for cushions, and a new laser cutter to enhance the speed and quality of production. The filling and cutting was previously done by hand.

Managing Director, Lance Dentith states ‘Our aim is to push L&S Prints as the printed fabric outlet and British Made Gifts as the outlet whereby our product portfolio will be marketed. The new British Made Gifts website enables users to customise every single one of our products, or design their own gifts from start to finish, you can even edit some of our products in 3D which is one of the most exciting elements of the new website’.

In addition to the new website, the company are extending their portfolio of drop shipping partners.  Alongside their already successful relationships with Firebox, Personalised Gifts, Kico, Bantams Banter and Rooby Lane, L&S Prints are in serious talks with two major football clubs to manufacture official merchandise.

The local company expect an extremely busy future, especially with the continuous development of their unique product portfolio and Christmas sales thriving year upon year.
