Sending your designs

Files formats

We tend to use vector formats more for printing (EPS/AI) because of the quality, vectors can be scaled to any size without loss of quality.

For raster formats (JPEG/TIFF/PSD/PNG) we try to get the DPI (see below) as high as possible.

The higher the DPI the better the quality of the print. (Max 300DPI).

Please send your files with a DPI of: 72, 150 or 300 (unless the file you send is of a vector format as vector can scale to any size without losing quality).

DPI Stands for “Dots Per Inch.” DPI is used to measure the resolution of an image both on screen and in print. As the name suggests, the DPI measures how many dots fit into a linear inch. Therefore, the higher the DPI, the more detail can be shown in an image.

Also, since most monitors have a native resolution of 72 or 96 pixels per inch, they cannot display a 300 dpi image in actual size. Instead, when viewed at 100%, the image will look much larger than the print version because the pixels on the screen take up more space than the dots on the paper.

Designs can be one big image, a selection of different images, any design you have made or anything else you can think of.

We print 1 metre as 59 inch wide (150cm) by 41 inch long (104cm) (we give an extra 2 inch [4cm] to account for shrinking that occurs when the fabric is heat set).

Please send files (1 metre) 59” x 41” (150cm x 104cm) as this means we will not have to make your artwork up which in turn means we cannot be responsible for any mistakes.

For artwork more than 1 metre please use our sizing guide below:

1 Metre 59” x 41” (150cm x 104cm)
2 Metres 59” x 82” (150cm x 208cm)
3 Metres 59” x 123” (150cm x 312cm)
4 Metres 59” x 164” (150cm x 416cm)
5 Metres 59” x 205” (150cm x 520cm)

How to send files

Files sent as attachments to our email address ( can be no bigger than 10mb otherwise the email will bounce back.

If your file is bigger than 10mb, we have a ‘Dropbox’ account that we can invite you to using your email address and create a folder where you can leave your files. (There are other cloud storage websites; if you have your own this would be perfect, please just let us know).

We can match your colours exact if you require us to (fees apply as we would need samples of your colours and to print samples to compare)

We will not change colours on your artwork under any circumstances so please read through this document so you can get an understanding of our print process/colour profiles.

We use CMYK colours so please take that into consideration as well.
We also have a colour chart available on our website for £9.99 so you can see the exact colours that you will receive.

We would also love to see what amazing creations you can make using our custom printing services so please do not hesitate to show us
